Zachary Freire-Aviña is Senior Counsel at The Pride Law Firm. He is admitted to practice law in California and the District of Columbia. Zach has several years’ experience representing individuals and businesses both as an attorney and as a consultant. He has a strong background in heavily regulated practice areas, including labor and employment, civil rights, and construction.

At The Pride Law Firm, Zach focuses on employment cases, civil rights protections, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and personal injury cases. Representative matters include sexual harassment/assault, retaliation and discrimination cases, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination cases, and a variety of other negligence-based cases. In addition to these practice areas, Zach likes to remain well-rounded, dedicating time to various other practice areas when he can.

Overall, Zach is a zealous advocate who utilizes his many years of “defense” work to bring a fresh and insightful perspective to his current clients. He approaches his cases holistically and takes pride in remaining available to clients as much as possible. Zach’s case strategies and guidance have resulted in efficient settlements, as well as jury and bench verdicts that maximize client outcomes.

Zach and his partner have two dogs and a cat. When not spending time with his family or working for the firm, he enjoys reading from his personal library, watching films, visiting local wineries, and traveling abroad.
