Stephanie A. Sandler is an Associate at the Pride Law Firm. Ms. Sandler developed her passion for law at young age watching “Law and Order” with her parents as a nightly ritual. A graduate of San Diego State University with a B.A. in English, Ms. Sandler is the first in her family to attend college. After earning her degree, Ms. Sandler took a short break from continuing her education to work with children with Autism and try her hand in the publishing industry. Ms. Sandler’s love for the written word continued to grow, and in 2013 she earned her M.A. in English from San Diego State University. With her Master’s Degree in hand, Ms. Sandler decided to attend the University of San Diego School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2016.
In law school, Ms. Sandler participated in numerous organizations including the Employment and Labor Law Society and Women’s Law Caucus. Ms. Sandler also served as President of the Jewish Law Students Association. As well, Ms. Sandler’s Advanced Legal Writing professor appointed her Teacher’s Assistant after she received a “High Pass with Honors;” a very honorable distinction. A born advocate, Ms. Sandler also received a “High Pass with Honors” for her performance in USD’s Trial Advocacy class.
Prior to law school graduation, Ms. Sandler worked as a law clerk for a well-respected employment law firm. From there, Ms. Sandler joined The Pride Law Firm, where her dedication to helping others continues to grow. Ms. Sandler now practices as a #metoo attorney, advocating on behalf of victims of sexual assault and harassment. To that end, Ms. Sandler also actively volunteers for the Center for Community Solutions.
When not honing her skills as a zealous advocate, Ms. Sandler enjoys the San Diego sunshine; adventures with her husband and dog, Ruth (named after Ruth Bader Ginsberg); and having a nice glass of wine.
