Laura M. Kelleher is an Associate at the Pride Law Firm advocating on behalf of the firm’s clients since January 2017.  Ms. Kelleher specializes in Employment Law and is a zealous fighter for workers who have been mistreated and abused in the workplace, including victims of discrimination and harassment.  She received her B.A. in Sociology at the University of California, Davis, where she rowed on the Women’s Crew Team and won several national championship regattas, including winning the San Diego Crew Classic in both 2007 and 2008.  After her undergraduate studies, Ms. Kelleher served 28 months as a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador, where she lived and worked within a remote mountain community to help improve the community’s health, sanitation, and education.

Upon her return to the U.S., Ms. Kelleher attended law school at the University of San Francisco.  During law school, Ms. Kelleher enrolled in USF’s Employment Law Clinic in which she represented underpaid immigrant workers and wrongfully terminated public employees.  It was in this clinic that Ms. Kelleher discovered her passion for both helping people and Employment Law.  In fact, Ms. Kelleher earned a CALI Award (highest grade in her class) for her work in the Employment Law Seminar and the ABA- Bloomberg BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law.

Prior to joining The Pride Law Firm, Ms. Kelleher worked as an attorney for a highly-acclaimed employment law firm in San Diego.  At her prior firm, Ms. Kelleher built her litigation skills representing victims of sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage theft.  Ms. Kelleher became fervent giving a voice to employees who felt they could not take on their employers alone.

In her free-time, Ms. Kelleher enjoys being outdoors, including paddle-boarding, cycling, hiking with her dog, and distance-running.
