Briana Givens is an Associate at The Pride Law Firm specializing in a variety of personal injury cases. Her experience ranges from sexual battery and assault cases to premises liability, slip and fall, automobile accidents and dog bite cases. She has helped clients with catastrophic injuries recover millions of dollars in damages.


Briana earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she excelled and placed in the top of her class after her first year. She earned a fellowship from the San Diego County Bar Association’s Diversity Fellowship Program working as a summer associate at Andrews Lagasse Branch & Bell LLP. She was a 2016 Earl B. Gilliam Foundation Scholarship recipient.


Briana joined the Law Review Journal and her note was selected for publication. Subsequently, she served as the Executive Editor of the Law Review. Briana made history as part of the first All African-American Women Law Review Managing Board in California. The faculty at Thomas Jefferson School of Law selected Briana as the nominee for the 2017 Burton Award.


Givens is a California native, born and raised in Palm Springs. She speaks Spanish and is a first-generation student and lawyer. Her hobbies include playing basketball, hiking, and surfing.
